Freeride Film Festival – Logo + Video - October 19th, 2011

Freeride Film Festival Logo

Million Miles Away

Thanks to 3FM’s 90′s request week, I rediscovered Dune’s “Million miles away from home”. A happy hardcore track from 1996. I loved the chord sequence and vocoder featured in the song. After some fiddling around in Propellerheads Reason I was surprised to see how this fast-paced song could be increased in tempo (240bpm) and converted [...]

iScroll + jQTouch: a semi-unobtrusive way - May 25th, 2011

iScroll

As I am still developing webapps for iOS, I keep coming across problems needing a fix. As webapps are still quite ‘new’, there sometimes is no sollution yet, which requires you yourself to come up with one. Here’s another one I’d like to share: combining iScroll and jQTouch. Again, without resorting to a fork, or [...]

As I am still developing webapps for iOS, I keep coming across problems needing a fix. As webapps are still quite ‘new’, there sometimes is no sollution yet, which requires you yourself to come up with one. Here’s another one I’d like to share: combining iScroll and jQTouch. Again, without resorting to a fork, or modifying existing jQTouch/iScroll scripts. This way, you don’t need to modify any html-code except adding the script in your header, allowing for easy undo. Also, it seems to play nice with jQTouch.

jQTouch on iPad with minimal modifications

jQTouch

jQTouch

Right, time for a slightly more nerdy post. As I was looking for a simple way to make my jQTouch webapp iPad ready without having to resort to a fork (like Beedesk’s). I found the following sollution that I’d like to share with you lot. The sollution is pretty simple, and is *unobtrusive*; it will not affect the iPhone/iPod layout and functionality (as far as I can tell).
